After an overwhelming expression of interest from an international community of researchers, urban planners, policy makers, museum and heritage practitioners (to name a few) we are very much looking forward to developing a Conference programme that will explore the breadth of issues and opportunities that surround the conservation, interpretation and development of Jewish Heritage in towns and cities across Europe and the wider world.
In anticipation of the full programme announcement, you can peruse our selection of accepted abstracts on the Conference website, and get to know some of different organisations that will attend the Conference in September.

In addition to a stimulating programme of presentations and panel discussions, there will also be ample opportunity to explore the heritage of the historical city of Kraków, and network with like-minded colleagues. Here’s a brief overview of the Conference activities that we have announced so far:
Conference Opening in the beautiful surroundings of the Tempel Synagogue. (3 Sept)
Keynote Presentation from Professor Daniel J. Walkowitz, Author of the upcoming book Remembered and Forgotten Jewish World: Jewish Heritage in Europe and the United States, Rutgers, 2018. (3 Sept)
Evening Welcome Reception at the magnificent Wielopolski Palace, hosted by the City of Krakow. (3 Sept)
An afternoon of study visits to explore Krakow Old Town and historical Jewish District (5 Sept)

All the above, and more, are included within the Conference registration. We look forward to announcing more conference activities, and of course, the full schedule, soon!
